Want to be more confident, talk to more people.
Want to date a beautiful girl, hunt the bars.
Want be more successful, hang out with successful people.
Reallyyyyy???
Why???
You torture yourself, drain yourself, and go completely opposite of who you are just because some one told you it will make you more confident.
You call that personal-growth?
What a bunch of bullshit!
And whoever is giving that advice to an introvert has no idea how introverts operate. Seriously. No idea at all.
Would you go to an eye specialist if you need heart surgery? Would you?
Then why would you in your right mind take advice that is clearly meant for extroverts.
They are not wrong. But it’s not for you. And the day you understand this not so subtle difference, is the day a world of actual change will open up for you.
Let me now show you how you can grow as an introvert without going crazy in the head.
Personal-growth for introverts starts with Self-acceptance.
Stop hating yourself.
Stop changing yourself.
Stop thinking of yourself as a lesser being.
Instead, embrace who you are.
Completely. Unapologetically.
Without fear, without any doubt, tell the whole world,
“This is who I am. Take it or leave it.”
They want to change you. Domesticate you like an animal. Take away your greatest power. That is to be alone and not care.
You don’t need people, you need you.
Your own believe in yourself.
Your own trust in yourself.
Look at Steve Jobs.
Look at Dostoevsky.
Look at Tesla.
Look at Einstein.
They didn’t give a shit about the world. They just locked themselves in their rooms and used their power of introversion to create masterpieces.
They didn’t care about how to pick up girls in a bar, girls went crazy over them.
They didn’t care about how to talk to people, people chased them just to hear their voice.
They didn’t care about how to be more confident, people accepted them for who they were.
Why?
Because they fully & completely accepted themselves.
And that, my friend, is the secret.
Let me now give you a few tips on how to do that.
Observe yourself
You have a PhD in observing other people, no questions there.
But, what about observing yourself?
You can accept who you are when you know who you are. And self-observation is the most powerful tool for self-study and self-knowledge.
Self-observation gives you answers to the questions like:
What do I like
What do I don’t like
Which people are good for me
Which people are bad for me
What makes me react or overthink
What triggers my anxiety
If you don’t know the answers to these questions, life can feel very hard.
And when you get the answers through self-observation, you can make decisions that are more aligned to who you are and your goals in life.
Keep a journal
When you’re done with self-observation, you have to note them down.
As an introvert, keeping a journal comes naturally.
You're all thought, thought, thought. But when they’re swirling around in your head, they may create chaos & confusion. That’s why you have to write them down.
It’s not a coincidence that all famous introverts in history kept a journal. It was not a hobby, it was a necessity. They had to. To know themselves. To understand how they think and what they think about.
Keeping a written account of your thoughts, emotions, behaviors and patterns, will paint a very clear picture of who you truly are.
And when you have it all written down like that in a diary, it becomes easy to accept yourself.
And above all, stop lying to yourself
You can’t lie now.
It’s all there in your diary.
What you like.
Who drains you.
Who nourishes you.
Real people. Fake people.
How you like spending your time.
It’s all there.
Now all you gotta do is, not lie to yourself.
Be loyal to who you are. Respect yourself more. Respect how you want to spend your time & live your life.
Life is long, but life is also short.
Stop caring to socialize, winning approvals, and acting like extroverts.
You don’t need all that shit. That’s not who you are.
And when you accept yourself, care for yourself and fall in love with who you are,
You become so magnetic that everything that comes in contact with you is left mesmerized by your vibe.
Because finally, you stopped giving a shit.
Because finally, you stopped acting who you’re not.
Because finally, you accepted who you are.
And that, my dear friend, is just the beginning of a whole new chapter in your life.
A chapter of abundance, success, love, wealth, and unlimited opportunities.
A chapter of becoming unstoppable.
