I’m in total agreement. I get up when I feel like it and sit and sip my coffee while just going through my emails, while listening to Classical music. (Music is my life!)

I have a trusted news source delivered to my email so I can pick and choose what I want to read about.

I go for a walk when I want to, preferably on a nice sunny afternoon.

A long hot bath is just about my favorite thing. And, I also talk to myself. Actually, I talk to squirrels and bugs, the TV, whatever!

Although I was very skeptical at first, I’ve discovered that the deep breathing exercises actually work if you’re doing them correctly.

And, I spend a good bit of time just sitting in absolute silence and thinking.

In the evenings I usually watch my favorite prerecorded TV comedy, then later…evening music-whatever I’m in the mood for.

This is my normal routine and it works for me!

Thank you for your wise words. Many of these thoughts are life practices for me that I feel guilty for needing. You have soothed my soul and encouraged my need for quiet.🙏🏼
